Guide To Sole Proprietorship Registration

1.) Register your business name at DTI. If you are a professional, you need not register with DTI. PRC ID is enough unless you will use trade name other than your name.

2.) Get Barangay Clearance where your business will be located.

3.) Get Mayor’s Permit at City Business Permit and Licensing Office where your business will be located.

4.) Register your business with the BIR.

5.) Register with SSS (Social Security System), Pag-Ibig and Philhealth. These are mandatory contributions required by Labor Laws to deduct from employees’ salaries and pay to the government both employees’ and employer’s share.
